Walking distance in between.

Today is the first day of a new way of walking for me, got me a new pair of winter boots, this is the real deal baby. So now my walking distance is vastly altered, not in terms of the distance from point A to point B but more in terms of the sideways between the legs as I go about walking, how far apart my feet are whenever I'm walking.

This thing is so big that I am now found to be walking more or less like the people who are using their knees in ways like how the belt was to be used, to keep the pants up. Who knew? But one thing is sure. The thing is warm as hell. Well, not quite. I hope for your sake and mine. Complaints there.
However, I do have a complaint about it. Now I have to carry around a second pair of shoes. This thing is so big I can't even think let alone drive in them. You do know that that is what I do to pay the man though, driving? So now its two shoes, one for the winter wonder walking thing, and another for the real job. The job.

How has your day been? Tell us about it in the comments area below.

Feature. Today's feature is the last of the series which we have been featuring for the past week or so. It's not done yet, not nearly, the story that is. But like I had said, there is an interest in getting this story published as a stand-alone project so we are scrapping the series in order to get the wheels a turning in that regard. On the coming weekend, we will be having the weekend special. Come next week though, there will be something new coming your way. Don't miss it.
Excerpts from one of Shadow’s encounter with one of the many earthling women which he would have had rendez-vous with while he was supposedly among them on the king’s business.

Oh for girl’s sake

Warm winter activity
Her hands outstretched, her thigh would have heaved up to strike the solid thing that would have awaken me to life, life I never knew I was capable of, even with all of those incarnations under my belt, this time, for the first time, I knew what it meant to live, at last.

“I’ve missed you all my life,” I mumbled through her breathing, through her parted lips, but how could I have known?

She would have kissed my face, threw flames like a blow torch down my spine, and it would have happened, again. She grew momentarily shy, her face would have buried itself into my tunic, and she gave me the top of her head, I would have breathed steam into each strand, each strand of her long flowing hair.

That’s when she would have bent over backward and lie down, sprawled on her back, her head to one side. “Crucify me,” she said.

You don’t know, and I hope no one will ever come to know how beautiful that woman is, she is really, really something, I never knew until I gaze at her from that angle.

Nobody would have thought me this but, I fumbled at undressing her, with my trembling hands, with my mouth, mine eyes, with my tongue, my imagination.

Her lively and wet center half was focused too, she was fused into me. Look! Look she said, look at me so that I can feel the caress, the ravaging of your eyes. Touch me! Touch me there. And cover me with your skin. Kiss me, kiss me she said, and…

I would have kissed her there and then, and banish the talking. And, and… My heart just flew away. And, and…

“And his mind followed.” That’s what he’s trying to say. But…
